We have more than one way to heal Darwin once he takes damage. You can always avoid such situations by dodging incoming attacks. However, that's not always possible, but you can heal by simply feeding.
Yes, feeding not only helps Darwin to grow, but it also helps him to recover his lost health. However, not every type of food will regenerate your HP. Ideally, you'll want to look for food items that have a sparkle around them (refer to the image below).
These food items can be of different types, but having the sparkle around them is essential. When you consume such food items, you'll recover your HP. The amount of HP you recover will vary based on your existing health pool, level, and more.
There are a few more ways to recover your HP.
- You can use Evolutions that allow you to regenerate HP passively. These are useful additions to have on your run and upgrade.
- You can also have certain abilities, like Leech, that allow you to drain health from enemies you attack, and replenish your own health.
