Disney Dreamlight Valley loves a good riddle, and Star Path events are always packed with lots of them for you to solve. One of the many riddle-focused tasks you’ll need to complete asks you to hang out with a glitchy villager.
If you’ve been playing for a while, you’ve probably encountered glitches with just about every resident who calls the valley home. There’s only one specific character who works for this quest, though, so here’s how to hang out with a glitchy villager in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Who is a glitchy villager in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The glitchy villager is Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph in DDV. This can be one of the tougher clues to solve, as just about everyone in the valley has glitched at some point or can be glitchy from time to time.
Vanellope, though, has actual glitching powers, which she figured out in the first Wreck-It Ralph movie. She’s the only character who intentionally vanishes, teleports, and otherwise glitches around Dreamlight Valley.
Even if you may think that other characters who call the valley home are also glitchy, this task is specifically talking about Vanellope. No other villagers you interact with will contribute progress for it, so you must seek her out to get it done.
Hang out with a glitchy villager in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You’ll encounter the hang out with a glitchy villager task two separate times throughout the Pop City Star Path event. The specifics of each one are slightly different, but your main goal remains the same, which is to hang out with Vanellope for the required amount of time.
- The first version of this mission is the 73rd duty in the main event, so you have to progress through most of the earlier quests before you unlock it. For this one, you need to hang out with Vanellope for 15 minutes to claim 25 Tokens .
- The second version of this task is one of the Pop City Star Path routine duties , and is featured in the second week of the event. This one asks you to hang out with Vanellope for 25 minutes to claim 25 Tokens .
If you want to be as efficient as possible with this process, consider holding off on completing it until you have both missions available to complete at the same time. The main event duty will take longer to reach, as it’s fairly late in the event.
You get a solid number of Tokens for tackling this mission twice, but most of the prizes featured in the Pop City Star Path event are quite costly, so you’ll likely need a bit more to unlock them.
