TWO Hunter businesses have teamed up to "raise the spirits" of those finding it tricky to get their hands on sanitiser.
John Jones, a pharmacist at My Community Pharmacy Shortland, has teamed up with Lucas Cattell from Newcastle Distilling Co to help ease the shortage of hand sanitiser in the community and help fight the spread of COVID-19.
Mr Jones said this was a challenging time for the community, and they were pleased to have the resources to help.
"Stock will be limited, and we will try to share our hand sanitiser evenly between all customers," he said. "We ask please be patient and considerate."
Mr Jones said the sanitiser was made with pharmaceutical grade ingredients to reduce the risk of dermatitis, and was available at My Community Pharmacy, Sandgate Road, Shortland.
"Due to overwhelming demand and government restrictions, purchases will be limited to one 125ml bottle per customer," he said.
