Ribbons in Battlefield 2042 are one of the ways to earn XP and progress through the game. The game has five Ribbon types, and one of the harder ones to get, especially on any other class than Support, is the Wingman Ribbon.
Here’s everything you need to know about Wingman Ribbons in Battlefield 2042 and the best way to get them.
Every way to get Wingman Ribbons in Battlefield 2042

Wingman Ribbons are awarded for reviving allies and supporting teammates with damage assists. The easiest way to earn them is to jump on the Support class and revive fallen teammates with the Defibrillators while also providing covering fire.
If you’re on Support, you can also use Flack and her Syrette Pistol to heal teammates or Angel and his Loadout Crate to resupply to contribute to the Logistics Ribbon, and maximize Ribbon rewards. You don’t have to go full support, though, as you can progress the Wingman Ribbon with damage assists while playing any class, including Assault.
Keep in mind that heals and resupplies do not count towards the Wingman Ribbon. Those actions (alongside repairing vehicles) contribute to the Logistics Ribbon only.
Wingman Ribbon rewards in Battlefield 2042

Apart from an occasional battle pass challenge, Ribbons in Battlefield 2042 are a source of XP. Every Ribbon has three tiers that you can progress through during each match by doing corresponding actions. Reaching each tier awards a Ribbon and a chunk of XP.
Here are the Wingman Ribbon Tiers and XP rewards:
- Tier I: +1,000 XP
- Tier II: +500 XP
- Tier III: +500 XP
During double XP weekends and/or if you have an XP booster, you naturally get more XP for Ribbons. You can see your Ribbon progress on the bottom left of the scoreboard screen and at the end of the match. There are five Ribbons in total: Combat, Logistics, Objective, Intel, and Wingman, and the more you earn, the more XP you’ll get.
