How to get Water Filters in Arc Raiders

Arc Raiders Water Filter: A player looking at two large metal crates inside the Generator Hall on Dam Battlegrounds.

Water Filters are yet another item that you need to grab for the Avian Alarm project in Arc Raiders and have basically no purpose normally. Sure, you could recycle them or sell them, but it's really not worth the hassle. Now, however, you need to donate three of them to your bird sanctuary, and you're likely scratching your head, wondering where you've seen them before.

The good news is that it's incredibly easy to grab the Water Filters you need once you know where to look. And it's close to an extraction lift, so you can get in and get out almost immediately.

How to get Water Filters in Arc Raiders

You can get Water Filters as a loose item or inside containers in Industrial areas. However, the best place to look is inside breachable metal crates in the Power Generation Complex in the north of Dam Battlegrounds.

In the Generator Hall (the area with the exposed ceiling next to the extraction lift), you'll find tons of metal boxes that you can breach. There's a crate by the door, two at the top of the stairs, and another one at the back of the hall. There are more of these crates in the hallways throughout the Power Generation Complex, too. You can also find a bunch in the Hydroponic Dome Complex, often on shelves.

Breach and search each one, and you're likely to find a Water Filter or two. In fact, I found all three in just a single run. Done and dusted.

Of course, you've no doubt seen these boxes elsewhere on the Dam Battlegrounds (and the other maps for that matter). It's always worth breaking into them, whether they're in an Industrial area or not.

If you're having no luck on Dam Battlegrounds because everyone's beaten you to the punch, you could try the Shipping Warehouse on Spaceport. This area also has multiple metal boxes you can check for Water Filters.
