In the Summer Update of Grow A Garden, the developers have added five different mutations to the base game. While three of the mutations - Sundried, Twisted, or Windstruck are easy to acquire, players are perplexed about how to get the Verdant and Paradisal mutations. So, if you are confused about getting these two mutations, let me help you out.
How to get the Verdant Mutation in Grow A Garden
The only way to get the Verdant Mutation in Grow A Garden is through the Scarlet Macaw Pet. This is a Legendary-type pet that players can obtain by hatching the Paradise Egg available to purchase from the Egg Shop. It usually has a 7% chance to spawn in the shop and costs around 50,000,000 Sheckles or 139 Robux. Even after acquiring the Paradise Egg, it is not guaranteed that you will get the Scarlet Macaw, as there are 5 different pet parts of the Egg, and the Macaw only has an 8% chance of hatching while opening.
Once you have the Scarlet Macaw, you can then allot it as one of your primary pets on the farm. With time, to be precise, every 11:51 minutes, there is a 15.95% chance to apply the Verdant mutation to any nearby plants.

Speaking about the mutation itself, it increases the price of fruit up to four times its original value and turns the entire crop or fruit entirely green. It is a very decent mutation when you compare the price of the Paradise Egg and the final sheckle multiplier while selling. I won't suggest using it and would still prefer using the Zombie Chicken that provides the Zombiefied mutation, which scales the price by 25 times, which is a substantial increase compared to Verdant.
How to get the Paradisal Mutation in Grow A Garden
The most sought-after mutation after the summer update in Grow A Garden is the Paradisal mutation. This is a combo mutation similar to Frozen that originates if a plant is chilled and has the wet mutation at the same time. For this one, you require the Sundried and the Verdant mutation on a single fruit. Once that happens, the server will automatically replace both of these mutations with the Paradisal one.
By now, you would know that the Verdant mutation is acquired through the Scarlet Macaw Pet, whereas the Sundried mutation can be applied to your plants during the Heatwave event. This is a new server-wide event where you will find the sun brightly shining and shooting sun rays towards the lobby. If one of these rays hits your garden or crops, you will get the Sundried Mutation. You can increase the chance of getting this particular mutation using the Tanning Mirrors, which diverts the beam to your farm.
Any fruit with the Paradisal mutation will emit sun-ray-like particles and look very bright. Also, crops with the Paradisal mutation will have an 18 times increase in price, which, if you ask me, is not that high, and falls within the mid-range of mutations.
