How to get unlimited Alton Towers entry all summer

Alton Towers will welcome hordes of visitors through its doors during the summer.

The school holidays are beginning and as Wales is gripped by a heatwave many families will be taking to the road to visit the Staffordshire-based theme park.

Alton Towers is a vast theme park featuring roller coasters such as Oblivion and the new Wicker Man ride, CBeebies Land for younger visitors, the scare attraction Alton Towers Dungeon and themed hotels for overnight visitors.

With so much to do families will have to pay a significant amount to enter the theme park.

Tickets for a one-day pass are priced at £34 when booked in advance online or £58 per person on the door. Annual passes start from £139.

However, a new deal means visitors can buy a season pass giving entry into Alton Towers as many times as you wish between now and November 3 for just £50.

The deal has been launched by Wowcher and cuts £6 off the price of the season pass on the official Alton Towers website. The pass gives users access to the theme park on weekdays only and does not include the dungeon.

Wowcher also has a Premium Pass for £65 - £5 less than the official site - that does include weekend entry and the Alton Towers Dungeon.

Other deals websites including Attraction Tickets Direct and 365Tickets are selling standard day passes for £33, which is a £1 saving on the official site.
