How to get to a free cinema ticket when you play the Lottery

Lottery customers can get free tickets to go the cinema this Sunday.

Anyone who enters Saturday August 24's Double Prize Event draw  will get a free adult ticket for National Lottery Cinema day on Sunday August 25.

Tickets are available for Empire, Odeon and Picturehouse cinemas, as well as the independent Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle.

There are Odeons in Durham, Silverlink and MetroCentre, while Sunderland has an Empire.

National Lottery says the scheme is to say thanks to players for supporting its work with the British film industry. Some proceeds from Lottery sales go towards funding training and development opportunities for filmmakers.
