There's been much excitement since it was announced that Lionel Richie will play Cardiff Castle next summer.
Now the countdown is on to the day when tickets go on sale for the highly-anticipated gig on Sunday, August 2 .
The American superstar is following in the footsteps of a number of big names who performed at the venue this year, including Manic Street Preachers , Paul Weller, The Killers and Nile Rodgers.
