This is when you'll be able to book your tickets for Glastonbury 2020

Glastonbury tickets sold in just half an hour last year after record numbers of people attempted to buy one.

With that in mind, anyone who was unlucky enough to miss out may already be looking ahead to next year's festival.

The festival next year will be a particularly special event as Glastonbury is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Fleetwood Mac have that they are set for a headline show at the festival next year.

If that piques your interest, tickets for Glastonbury 2020 will be become available later this year and will be sold exclusively at  glastonbury.seetickets.com .

Festival organisers haven't confirmed yet when exactly tickets will go on sale but general admission tickets became available on October 7 last year so expect it to be around the same date.

You can book up to six tickets per transaction by paying a deposit of £50 per person when tickets go on sale.

Everyone, aged 13 or over, who wishes to attend the festival must be registered before they can pay a deposit.

Last year, organisers recommended getting registered online on the Glastonbury Festival website by September 28.

Tickets cost £248 plus a £5 booking fee per ticket but there's no confirmation yet of how much tickets will cost for Glastonbury 2020.

In 2018, organisers advised using just one browser tab when trying to book tickets to avoid possible problems with transactions.
