The second Super Egg quest of Roblox's The Hatch Event is now live and players have the chance to get their hands on the Temporal Flux Core Egg. It's called Super Egg - Crackling Glen, and like the previous one, this Super Egg quest also has a 24-hour window. If you don't complete it by then, you'll never get your hands on the item, which is why our guide is here to help.
Temporal Flux Core Egg Quest in The Hatch Event
To get the Temporal Flux Core egg, you must complete the Super Egg - Crackling Glen quest. But first, you will have to unlock it by completing the Something is Coming II quest. If you didn't complete the Something is Coming I quest, you must complete that first. Only then can you move on to the Something is Coming II quest. Check the Quests tab to see what you have to do to complete Something is Coming I and II.

If you've already completed both the quests, you can start the Super Egg - Crackling Glen quest by fast traveling to Crackling Glen. Once you land, a cut-scene will play out with the egg spawning and then flying away. To complete the quest, you must find the egg in the Time Biome first and then in the Energy Biome.
Temporal Flux Core Egg Location in the Time Biome

From the Crackling Glen lobby, take a left and walk to the Time Biome or simply use fast travel and go to the portal of the Time Biome to find the egg floating in front of it. As soon as you reach the egg, it will launch up into the sky once again and travel to the second location of this rather short quest - the Energy Biome.

Now, head over to the Energy Biome to complete the quest. Avoid using fast travel because that will drop you inside the Energy Biome but the egg is on the entrance, so just walk towards it. It'll once again fly away and land deep inside the Energy Biome.
Walk to the edge of the Energy Biome and the pick up the egg from near the waterfall. Another animation will play out as you click the egg multiple times to hatch it and receive the Temporal Flux Core.
The Temporal Flux Core is an exclusive cosmetic item of Roblox The Hatch Event (2025) that you can get by completing the Special Egg - Crackling Glen quest. The quest must be completed within 24 hours if you want to get the Temporal Flux Core. It's a non-traceable item and there's no other way to get it.
The Eggcentric Elemental Hat was another time-limited cosmetic item that players earned by completing a Super Egg quest. If you missed out on that, make sure to get the Temporal Flux Core by following our guide.
There is a total of four Special quests in the Hatch which you complete by collecting a certain amount of eggs in each biome and then locating the special eggs as it moves across locations.
Meanwhile, do collect all the Water Biome Eggs and Light Biome Eggs to stay ahead of the upcoming quests.
