How to obtain the Direwasp Disintegrator in No Man’s Sky
The key to unlocking this tool is hidden behind Expedition 22: Swarm. This is the latest expedition that you can solve with the community. Hello Games has made slight changes to it, since there are three main phases (instead of the traditional five). To unlock the Direwasp Disintegrator, you’ll need to complete Phase 2.
If you’re yet to begin the expedition, here’s our detailed guide. The guide will explain what the tasks are and what needs to be done to complete them. The first phase has seven different tasks. The first phase also takes the least time and requires mostly basic resources.
The second phase has six tasks, but some of them have hard requirements. Once you finish all of them, you’ll automatically unlock the Direwasp Disintegrator.
How to use the Direwasp Disintegrator in No Man’s Sky
When you earn the multi-tool in the expedition, it will remain locked. You’ll first need to return to your primary save. Head to the Anomaly, and go to the Expedition Terminal. You’ll get an option to resume your expedition.
You’ll also find a second option to copy the item. Once you do that, you’ll have the Direwasp Disintegrator equipped in your main save. You can then choose to add new modules in the empty slots to further improve its capabilities. However, it already features some advanced tools apart from the more basic ones. It’s a great choice for beginners and veterans alike.
