While most cosmetics in Fortnite are available via the item shop or battle pass, the Battle Bus skin for the SUV vehicle is obtained in a slightly different way. Keep reading to find out how to get your very own Battle Bus as an SUV skin in Fortnite.
How to get the Battle Bus SUV skin in Fortnite
The only way to get this SUV skin design in Fortnite is to first purchase it in Rocket League. There are, however, conflicting reports on how to unlock the skin and whether all players who own the Battle Bus in Rocket League will automatically get this free design in Fortnite.

According to iFireMonkey on X (formerly Twitter), there have been reports that players are not receiving the Battle Bus skin in Fortnite, despite owning it in Rocket League. Unfortunately, it looks like to get the skin in Fortnite, you have to own the Titanium White version of the Battle Bus in Rocket League for it to show in Fortnite.
The Battle Bus skin was originally added to Rocket League back in 2020 during the Llama-Rama event, with the Titanium White version purchasable for free from the store on June 8, 2023.
The Titanium White Battle Bus was only available to unlock in Fortnite until June 13, 2025, which is frustrating for fans who have only just heard of this crossover offer. The lucky players who have received the free skin in Fortnite found it had appeared in their locker on June 18, 2025.

Although this is annoying, there is hope that Epic Games will rectify the situation, allowing all players with the Battle Bus skin in Rocket League to also own it in Fortnite. There is no news on whether the Battle Bus skin will be available to purchase in the Fortnite item shop, either, but many of you are hoping there will be a chance to buy it in the near future. The price for such a rare SUV skin bundle will probably fall in line with what is already available in the shop, with prices fixed at around 2,000 V-Bucks. Bundles generally include the car body, decals, and wheel designs.
