How to get refund for cancelled N-Dubz Nottingham show as rescheduled date announced

N-Dubz fans have been left raging after the group cancelled their show at Nottingham's Motorpoint arena at the very last minute. The musical trio say it was due to illness after singer Dappy had been advised by doctors to rest and would be unable to perform.

The show is part of their The Back To The Future tour which began on November 7 in Newcastle and was due to finish in Manchester, December 4. N-Dubz's cancellation came just moments before they were due on stage, after all support acts had performed. The announcement was shown on a large screen at the venue, with N-Dubz later posting on Twitter:

"We're so sorry we had to cancel the show tonight. We tried to do everything possible to make the show happen, but a doctor advised at the very last minute that Dappy was unable to perform and needed to rest tonight…"

They added: "We had to take this advice seriously and consider Dappy's health so that the rest of the tour can happen...We're deeply sorry to all the fans who travelled to see us tonight and promise to make it up to you with a new rescheduled date for the show.

How to claim a refund for N-Dubz at Nottingham

In a statement by the Moptorpoint Arena, they told fans how to get a refund if they cannot attend the rescheduled date.

"We're very pleased to announce that the N-Dubz show postponed from last night will now take place on Wednesday, December 7, 2022."

Seated tickets will remain valid for the new date, however those with standing tickets will have new ones re-issued to them and only these re-issued tickets will be valid on the new date. If you are unable to make the new date, refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Fan reaction to N-Dubz postponement

N-Dubz, which consists of Tulisa Contostavlos, Dappy and Fazer, were criticised online for the last minute announcement. Former Celebrity Big Brother star Dappy warned fans hours before the cancellation that he was feeling unwell.

The rapper wrote: "This always happens. [Too] many back to back shows without no proper breaks, now I'm completely f****d. Voice basically gone, flu, chest infection etc etc."

In another story, he said that his "voice was fully gone now" and added "Nottingham, I pray things change in the next hour with me". However, it took until minutes before the group were due on stage for the gg to be called off.

"I get if artists are ill but when @TheDappy knew he wasn't performing 3 hours before you announced it and 5 mins after you were due on stage is not on," a fan said online.

Another disappointed fan said: "Cost me £190 to get up here f*****g ridiculous I might not be able to get to the rescheduled show."
