Among multiple challenges in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 multiplayer, there are a few that require you to play around the objective and get Objective Kills. While it’s a simple challenge, there are a few things you must keep in mind when completing it.

To get an Objective Kill, you must kill an enemy who is contesting the zone or kill an enemy while contesting the zone yourself.

Killing any enemy who is capturing the objective counts as an Objective Kill, even if you’re outside the zone. And if you kill someone outside the zone while capturing it, that counts too. Whenever you get an Objective Kill, you’ll see an Objective Kill tag next to your crosshair worth 125 points.

Modes

The main tip is to play Domination or Hardpoint, as those are the only two modes with objectives that count towards this challenge. In Domination, always move towards the contested zone, while in Hardpoint, take note of the location of the next objective.

Perks

For the most part, the loadout to get Objective Kills is a matter of personal preference. Use the weapons you’re grinding the challenge for and pair them with Wildcards, field upgrades, and equipment that suit your playstyle the most.

There are a few perks that can help play around the objective, though:

  • Tac Sprinter (Perk 1): Enables Tactical Sprint, but reduces your normal sprint speed.
  • Tech Mask (Perk 2): Resistance to enemy flash, concussion, and gas. You cannot be EMP’ed or Hacked.
  • Guardian (Perk 3): Faster healing while capturing and holding objectives. Revive downed teammates faster.

Tac Sprinter allows you to reach the objectives quicker, but using Ghost or Ninja is still a great option in the first slot, especially if you plan on flanking enemies. Tech Mask is useful when going for a capture, as the enemy team will likely throw a bunch of grenades on the zone. In case you get hit while on the zone, Guardian will speed up your health regeneration.

Then again, even these perks are a personal preference, and you can make more traditional loadouts work perfectly well.
