How to get Netflix on Sky Q: How much will it cost, what date will it be available from and more

Some good news for you Sky TV customers out there - today's the day when you can finally get your hands on Netflix.

Yep, the hit streaming service arrives on Sky Q today, meaning users can watch their favourite shows all in the same place.

It is the first time the two services will operate together and means users can also access easily access thousands of shows side-by-side.

The new entertainment pack, called Ultimate On Demand, is available for £10 a month and includes access to Sky Box Sets - which has around 400 of the best American and British shows available.

The brand new package was launched today, on Thursday, November 1, following months of customers wanting the service.

Sky Box Sets usually sells for £5 a month, and with Netflix costing consumers £7.99, you'll be saving nearly £3 a month as well.

November also sees a huge new range of 4K Ultra HD content arrive on your Sky box - giving you even more reason to stay in now it's so cold.

To sign up for Ultimate On Demand, you'll need to be an existing Sky Q Entertainment subscriber. If you want to watch shows in Ultra HD, you can sign up to the Sky Q Experience bundle which will cost you £12 month more.

New Sky customers will need a Sky Q Entertainment subscription, which costs £20 a month, and then you will need to sign up to Ultimate On Demand.

Netlflix 4K is only available on the premium subscription.

You can also sign into the Netflix app and use your details to sign up to the package.

Ultimated On Demand will be an interactive service, while you can use a basic app to watch content as well.
