How to Get Moon Cut in Broken Blade

Moon Cut is a 4-Star Katana on Nidavellir Island requiring 1.5 Billion Money, 5,052,010 Gems, three tiers of Katana Pieces, 10,000 Fire Seeds, and 100 Moon Pieces. Before farming, craft Stone Cleaver 100 times at the First World Forge for the Godblade Forger title and its +30% Luck boost. Then farm the Velik Boss on Auto Attack for at least 1,500 Boss Keys, and spend them auto-summoning Moraros on Hard Mode in Nidavellir. Each kill gives an 8% chance at a Moon Piece.

Moon Cut is one of the strongest mid-to-late game Katana options in Broken Blade, and the grind to unlock it reflects that. You will need over a billion Money, millions of Gems, and three tiers of Katana Pieces, but the real bottleneck is the 100 Moon Pieces that only drop from Moraros Boss at an 8% chance per kill. So, to help you get this, our guide covers the most efficient path to Moon Cut, including the Luck title.

What Is the Moon Cut in Broken Blade?

Moon Cut is a 4-Star Katana weapon available on Nidavellir Island, found directly in front of the Boss Arena entrance. It is one of the stronger weapons available to Katana users in the mid-to-late game and is particularly effective when paired with the Vanir or Elf race for weapon-specific damage bonuses.

Moon Cut is located directly in front of the Boss Arena on Nidavellir Island. Interact with the weapon once you have gathered all required materials to unlock it. The Moon Pieces are the hardest material to collect. Everything else is farmable. Here's everything you need:

Material Amount Required
Money 1,500,000,000
Gems 5,052,010
Katana Piece I 5,000
Katana Piece II 2,500
Katana Piece III 1,000
Fire Seed 10,000
Moon Piece 100

The Moon Cut grind has a specific order that matters. Going straight to Moraros without the Godblade Forger title and a stockpile of Boss Keys wastes time and effort. Follow the steps below in sequence to get through the grind as efficiently as possible.

Step 1 - Prepare Your Character

Before starting the Moon Cut grind, get your character into the strongest state. The more damage you deal per fight, the faster the Moraros farm moves. First, aim for Mythical-tier rolls on your Element, Race, and Blessing.

Second, obtain the Light Scar weapon and invest Diamonds into upgrading it. Diamonds are significantly easier to farm than most late-game materials, and upgraded Light Scar provides a strong damage boost that makes the Moraros fight faster and more consistent.

Step 2 - Unlock the Godblade Forger Title

The Godblade Forger title grants a +30% Luck boost, which improves your drop rates on the Moraros farm. Unlocking it before starting your boss run is one of the highest-value preps. To unlock it:

  1. Travel back to the First World
  2. Find the Forge and use it to craft a Stone Cleaver
  3. Craft Stone Cleaver 100 times .
  4. After the 100th craft, the Godblade Forger title unlocks automatically
  5. Equip the title before doing any Moraros runs

Step 3 - Farm Velik Boss for Boss Keys

With your character prepared and the Godblade Forger title equipped, the next step is building up a Boss Key stockpile. Head to the Velik Boss and enable Auto Attack. Velik can be farmed entirely AFK.

Velik drops Boss Keys alongside general materials and Epic-to-Mythical grade chests. Farm until you have a minimum of 1,500 Boss Keys before moving to Moraros. The exact number you need depends on your luck, but 1,500 gives you enough buffer to cover variance in the 8% Moon Piece drop rate without running out mid-grind.

Step 4 - Farm Moraros for Moon Pieces

With the Godblade Forger title active and at least 1,500 Boss Keys banked, head to Nidavellir Island and interact with the Boss Summoner. Set it to Auto Summon Moraros on Hard Mode. Each summon costs 5 Boss Keys. Set your weapon ability to Auto Mode to fight continuously without manual input. You can get it in approximately 300 attempts.
