There was great excitement on Wednesday afternoon when McDonald's made an announcement that left fans McLovin' life.
After speculation that something big was in the offing, the famous fast food restaurant revealed it will soon launch VIP hold cards. And there are two nuggets of great news about the card 1. Owners can get a free meal at McDonald's every week for a year and 2. You don't actually need to be a VIP to get one.
A spokesperson from McDonald's told The Sun : "It's official...Gold is the new black.
"After years of requests, McDonald's is launching a VIP Gold Card...no Brit Award required.
"The ONLY way you can get your hands on a McDonald's VIP Gold Card is to play, if Stormzy and Ed Sheeran want to get one, they'll have to play Monopoly."
Yes you heard right, anyone can win one and there will be 1,000 of them made will be made available when McDonald's Monopoly returns on March 25.
Most McDonald's products come with a 'game piece', in other words a sticker, with customers making purchases from Maccy D's around the country able to peel stickers off the back of selected menu items during the promotion.
Historically stickers have only been available to those buying large meals, but last year in a break from tradition Monopoly pieces were found on carrot bags, side salads and wraps.
