Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber guide
Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber is a mythic-tier weapon in Fortnite Galactic Battle. This means you can only get the weapon by performing a specific task on the battle royale map and not as floor or chest loot. You need to locate and interact with Mace Windu’s hologram on the island to open a rift and then step inside it. Following this, you will step out of the rift, equipped with the purple lightsaber.
Along with Mace Windu’s lightsaber, you will now have two new abilities in your arsenal: Force Pull and Force Jump. Both these abilities are extremely strong and come in very handy in the middle of combat and ambushes. However, the most important part of securing the purple lightsaber is finding Mace Windu’s hologram on the map.
Where is Mace Windu’s hologram in Fortnite Galactic Battle?
There is no fixed location or specific POI where the Mace Windu hologram appears on the Fortnite Galactic Battle map. These hologram pads spawn in random locations in every different battle royale match, and you will need to do a bit of exploring to find Mace Windu’s hologram in that respective lobby.
You must locate and interact with Mace Windu’s hologram if you want to get the purple lightsaber and unlock the Force Pull and Force Jump abilities. Entering the rift after interacting with the hologram is the only way to unlock these perks that will give you an edge towards securing the Victory Royale.
Is Darth Maul’s red lightsaber in Fortnite Galactic Battle?
Yes, Darth Maul’s red lightsaber is also available on the Fortnite Galactic Battle island, and similar to Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber, you will need to interact with Darth Maul’s hologram to unlock this version of the weapon.
The red lightsaber also unlocks two abilities for your character to use during the game: Force Throw and Force Jump. While the latter ability remains the same for both versions of the weapon, the Force Pull and Force Throw abilities are unique for the purple and red lightsaber, respectively.
