Tickets to see Liverpool play at Anfield are not easy to come by, with credit restrictions in place that make life difficult for an infrequent visitor.
Extensions to the Main Stand and the Anfield Road End have and will increase the stadium's capacity. However, Liverpool's continuing success under Jurgen Klopp has ensured that an already high demand has soared even further.
Below, this article will aim to arm you with all that you need to know to get your hands on tickets.
1. Become a Liverpool FC member
Liverpool encourages fans to join its membership scheme to be in with a chance of getting tickets to home matches.
The club says a minimum of 10,000 tickets for every home game go to members.
Membership costs £35.99 for UK-based fans, £39.99 for those based in Europe and £43.00 for the rest of the world.
A 'light membership' is available from £26.99 and gives access to tickets without the welcome pack.
Tickets for members go on sale twice a season in July and November. The sale date is announced on the official website and in the Liverpool Echo.
2. Get a fan card
A very small amount of tickets may be available on general sale around four weeks before a match. These are available to fan card holders and can be bought online.
3. Choose a cup game
You may have more luck getting a ticket for a cup game. As usual season ticket holders, members and fan card holders will get priority before general sale.
For domestic cup games the club has not released information yet. It says: "The ticket pricing structure for any domestic Cup games for the 2022/23 season will be published in due course."
For European games ticket selling processes will be announced in the weeks before the match on the official Liverpool website and the Liverpool Echo.
4. Watch on TV
If all else fails you can always watch the Reds play on TV. Sky Sports and BT Sports split the Premier League games, while European ties are exclusively on BT Sport.
