How to get home from the Oasis concerts at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium

If you're going to see Oasis live at Murrayfield for their first Scottish gig in over 15 years, you may be looking for ways to get back to the city centre from the venue.

Thousands of people are descending on the stadium, meaning public transport will be crowded, while the late finish of the shows will leave revellers with fewer options.

To save you the bother, here is everything you need to know about getting back from the shows via tram and train.

When are Oasis playing at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium?

Oasis will play at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium for three gigs on Friday, August 8, Saturday, August 9 and Tuesday, August 12.

Doors for all three events will open at 5pm, according to Ticketmaster.

How to get back from the Oasis shows at Murrayfield via tram

Those looking to travel back from the concert via tram will be able to make use of the dedicated station right outside the stadium's Roseburn Street turnstiles.

However, according to the Edinburgh Trams website, the last tram going towards Newhaven from this stop will leave at 11:14pm on all three concert dates (at the time of writing).

The times of the last trains from Waverley and Haymarket vary greatly from destination to destination, so it is always worth checking these before coming to the event.
