This item can be obtained from one place only: the Corrupted Robot. These scary enemies don’t appear just anywhere; they only show up during specific Assault Events tied to the game’s Reactor zones, specifically inside the Mist Reactor.
How to get the Heart of Corruption
After you have gained access to the Mist Reactor zone, one of the most dangerous and terrifying areas in the game, there will always be a chance of a Corrupted Robot spawning inside the vicinity.
