How to get free Star Traveler sniper blueprint in Black Ops 6 and Warzone

Call of Duty is giving away the Star Traveler sniper blueprint for completely free before we dive into season four of Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

Here’s what you need to do to claim the free blueprint.

How to get free Star Traveler blueprint

The Star Traveler is a clean, sleek weapon blueprint for the LR 7.62 sniper rifle. It comes pre-equipped with three attachments: the Gain-Twist Barrel, Lightweight Handguard, and Heavy Stock, improving the gun’s bullet velocity, aiming idle sway, and flinch resistance stats. You can equip two more attachments, or five more if you’re running the Gunfighter wildcard, to customize it to your playstyle.

Grabbing this blueprint is super easy. All you need to do is sign up for Call of Duty’s email updates through your Activision account. Follow these steps:

1. Scan the QR code on the “Gear up for Intel Drops” Message of the Day screen in the game client or go straight to the Call of Duty website, then log into your account.
2. If you haven’t added an email to your account yet, head to the Basic Info section in your profile and add one.
3. Go to the Preferences tab and scroll down to “Your Comms. Your Way” section. You’ll see a few checkboxes for different types of email updates. Check the one for Special Offers (or just check them all to be sure).
4. Once you’re signed up, Call of Duty will send you an email thanking you for subscribing to their email alerts, along with a unique code.
5. Just copy the code, head to the CoD redeem page, paste it in, and hit Redeem.

Once you’ve redeemed the code, the Star Traveler blueprint should show up in your inventory within a few minutes. If you’re in-game, you’ll receive a notification that the item has been sent to your inventory, and you’ll just have to restart Call of Duty to complete the giveaway process. 

If you were already signed up for CoD’s email updates even before the giveaway (like I was), you can skip the initial steps above. Just check the Promotions tab in your inbox for an email with the subject “Thanks for Being a Subscriber — Here’s Your Reward,” and your unique code should be in there.
