How to get Fortnite Mikasa and Levi skins when Attack on Titan content arrives

Fortnite are bringing Mikasa and Levi from Attack on Titan to the game next week ahead of Eren Jaeger’s Battle Pass debut.

We’ve known that Attack on Titan content will be coming to Fortnite since the launch of Chapter 4 Season 2, when it was announced that the series protagonist Eren Jaeger will be one of the Fortnite Skins in the Battle Pass. Now Epic Games have released a teaser showing that Eren won’t be going it alone as Mikasa and Levi Ackerman are both coming to the game on Tuesday, April 11, ahead of Eren’s Battle Pass missions unlocking on Saturday, April 15.

A short teaser was posted on the @FortniteGame Twitter account showing Mikasa and Levi in action. The trailer showed them zipping around using the series’ iconic Omni-directional mobility gear (which is basically a big grapple hook that they wear on their waist) with the caption “Dedicate your hearts. 4.11.2023”.

Luckily the Omni-directional mobility gear wasn’t just for show. Back at the start of Chapter 4 Season 2 Fortnite leaker @ShiinaBR revealed that a ‘Waist Grappler’ Mythic item will be added to the game at some point this season, thankfully ditching the convoluted name.

The Fortnite Mikasa and Levi skins appearing alongside a new Mythic item, and Eren’s Battle Pass debut are all happening next week. This leads me to think that Attack on Titan may be getting a full event like Dragon Ball Super got in the summer of last year, when the skins and Kamehameha. This event had a series of Dragon Ball missions that would unlock emotes and a host of cosmetic items, so perhaps we will see a similar thing happen for Attack on Titan.

How to unlock the Fortnite Mikasa and Levi skins

With Eren in the Battle Pass, I’m going to assume that Mikasa and Levi will be a part of the Item Shop rotation when they make their debut on Tuesday, April 11, which lines up with that Dragon Ball event last year. Sadly, all we have to go off of is the aforementioned tweet so we don’t know what will be included outside of the skins. Personally I’m hoping for an emote that plays that absolute banger of a theme song the anime had in its first season.

Based on similar costumes in the past I would expect it to cost somewhere in the 1,500 to 2,300 V-Bucks range. It’s unclear right now if they’ll be bundled together or separately with some special items for each bundle. But we’ll be sure to update you when we know more.

Tuesday, April 11, is also the day that Fortnite Update 24.20 is expected to launch, heralding the end of the Fortnite Spring Breakout Event that launched alongside Fortnite Update 24.10. So, why not go and beat some of those Spring Breakout quests while you wait for Attack on Titan content to swing in.
