Sainsbury's shoppers will receive personalised offers as part of the supermarket's revamped Nectar card scheme.
The changes were introduced across the UK on October 2 and will provide customers with bonus points in addition to the one point for every £1 spent online or in-store.
To get these bonus points, existing Nectar cardholders don't need to create a new account but will need to use the Nectar website or the new Nectar app to access the bonus points, Birmingham Live reports .
Each Friday, customers will receive a range of points-boosting offers to choose from, says MoneySavingExpert.
These will be personalised based on their shopping habits.
Shoppers can view these offers on the website or app, and then 'save' the ones they want to use before doing their shop at your nearest store.
They then scan their Nectar card – or the Nectar app – at the supermarket till to get their bonus points.
Nectar managing director James Moir said: "We're delighted to be unveiling a new world of Nectar to our customers, making it easier than ever before for them to get the most out of our hundreds of partners and rewards on offer.
"During the trials in Wales and the Isle of Wight, we listened to what our customers wanted and how they like to receive offers in an increasingly digitised world.
"This led us to a change in direction for the Nectar scheme, enabling our customers to have a much more personalised experience with offers that are completely unique to them."
