How to Get Eggs in Evomon

Eggs in Evomon drop after successful wild captures. Defeating an Evomon without catching it gives nothing. Every Egg also has a rare chance to be a Shiny Egg, which always hatches into the shiny variant. The Catchmaster Suit from Lava Crag Island is the best suit for farming Eggs, adding +1 Capture Chance and +10% Capture Success Rate. Guaranteed Eggs are available through the Battle Pass and Season Pass. The free Battle Pass alone gives two Astraknight Eggs at Levels 7 and 35.

Eggs are one of the best ways to add rare, Shiny, and Prismatic Evomon to your roster without relying on overworld RNG catches alone. Some Eggs hatch into specific Evomon, others are random, and the rarest variants come with enhanced stats or cosmetic bonuses. So, to help you get these, this guide covers every way to get Eggs, how to farm them, and what to expect when you hatch them.

How Do You Get Eggs from Wild Catches in Evomon?

The primary way to earn Eggs in Evomon is by catching monsters in the wild. Every successful capture has a small chance of rewarding you with an Egg of that Evomon. However, you must complete the capture successfully for the Egg drop chance to apply.

On top of that, every Egg you receive has a much smaller chance of being a Shiny Egg. Unlike regular Eggs, Shiny Eggs always hatch into the shiny version of that Evomon, making them one of the rarest collectibles in the game.

So, if you are planning to farm Eggs, your goal should be to catch as many Evomon as possible. Since Egg drops only occur after successful captures, improving your catch rate will naturally boost the number of Eggs you earn. Below, we’ve listed some of the best ways to earn Eggs:

  • Equip the Catchmaster Suit for its capture bonuses.
  • Use Advanced Balls whenever possible.
  • Unlock and use Auto Battle at Player Level 10 to farm encounters more efficiently.

How Do You Get the Catchmaster Suit?

If your goal is farming Eggs or hunting for shiny variants, the Catchmaster Suit is one of the strongest equipment choices available. To obtain this equipment, you must head to the Lava Crag Island, where you will find the Adventure Suit section. Here, you can roll for the suit by spending either 2000 coins or by using Lucky Spins.

The Catchmaster Suit has great passives that make catching Evomon significantly easier. These bonuses are especially useful when farming rare Evomon because failed captures won't allow you to receive their Eggs. Below, we’ve listed the Catchmaster Suit's passives in Evomon.

  • +1 Capture Chance - Gives you an additional capture attempt during encounters.
  • +10% Capture Success Rate - Improves your odds of securing difficult captures.

Another reliable source of Eggs is the Season Pass and the Battle Pass. Instead of relying on luck, you can earn guaranteed Eggs by progressing through the Season and the Battle Pass levels. You increase your Battle Pass level by completing daily objectives. Likewise, you can progress through the Season Pass by completing Daily, Weekly, and Challenge objectives.

Below, we’ve provided a table that lists the levels of the Season and Battle Pass on which you will receive an Egg.

Pass Level Reward
Battle Pass (Free) 7 Astraknight Egg
Battle Pass (Free) 35 Astraknight Egg
Battle Pass (Premium) 35 Shiny Astraknight Egg
Season Pass (Free) 10 Boltonia Egg
Season Pass (Premium) 1 Boltonia Shiny Egg
Season Pass (Premium) 40 Boltonia Shiny Egg

Are Astraknight and Boltonia Worth Getting?

Astraknight and Boltonia are valuable because they don't evolve into another Evomon. That means the monster hatches with its maximum stat potential already available, making it immediately useful without needing to wait for future evolutions.

The Premium Season and Battle Pass versions are even more desirable as they have shiny variant Eggs that come with a stronger overall stat spread. Moreover, they are available for a limited time, which makes them even more valuable and desirable.

How Do You Get Shiny Eggs in Evomon?

Some Evomon, such as Sunderreen and Archipex, have their shiny Eggs tied directly to catching them repeatedly in the wild. So, if you are specifically hunting these monsters, expect to spend time farming their spawn locations.

You only have a chance of receiving an Egg after successfully capturing the Evomon, so failed capture attempts won't reward you with a Shiny Egg. However, equipping the Catchmaster Suit significantly increases your capture success rate, making it one of the best tools for efficient Egg farming.

Alternatively, you can also get Shiny Egg variants from the Season as well as from the Battle Pass. So, make sure to complete Daily, weekly, and Challenge objectives to progress through the levels and unlock the Shiny Eggs.

How Do You Get Prismatic Eggs in Evomon?

Besides catching monsters and progressing through the Battle Pass, it's also worth logging into Evomon every day. The game's daily login rewards occasionally include free Prismatic Eggs, which you can redeem to unlock Prismatic variants of an Evomon. However, unlike Shiny Eggs, the Prismatic Eggs don’t boost the base stats of the Evomon, which makes it cosmetic only.

Alternatively, you can also obtain a Prismatic Egg by reaching Level 25 of the free Battle Pass. Unlike exclusive Eggs, a Prismatic Egg can be hatched for a random Evomon. This makes it an excellent reward for those looking to expand their collection. Since it's a guaranteed Battle Pass reward, make sure to complete your daily quests before the season ends.

How Do You Hatch Eggs in Evomon?

After collecting an Egg, you will need to incubate it before it can hatch. Below, we’ve mentioned the steps on how to hatch an Egg in Evomon.

  1. First, open the Evomon menu from the icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Then, select the Egg icon with a ‘?’ mark just below your team .
  3. After that, click on any of the Hatching Chambers.
  4. Lastly, choose an available Egg and click Place to place it into the Hatching Chamber for incubation .

Once the incubation process is complete, the Egg will hatch into its corresponding Evomon or a random Evomon. If you were lucky enough to receive a Shiny Egg, you will automatically obtain the shiny version.
