How to get cheaper tickets to Manchester's Ice Village with exclusive MEN discount code

If you've not yet been to Manchester's Ice Village then organisers are giving families a festive treat.

The attraction has teamed up with the M.E.N's Manchester Family to give visitors almost a third off the price of family tickets.

The Ice Cavern and Skate Manchester ice rink opened last month and once again form the centrepiece of the Christmas Markets' family zone in Cathedral Gardens.

This year there's a Fantasy Adventure theme, featuring mythical beasts and royal regalia.

We took a sneak peek at the sculptures before the grand opening and tried out the mini ice slide that features alongside an Ice Regal carriage, a dragon, a unicorn and more.

The Ice Cavern costs £7.50 for adults, £5.50 for children aged four to 15, or £22 for a family of four, with a £1 transaction fee for e-tickets. Under fours go free but still need a ticket.

But by using our exclusive code XMASFAMILYMEN30 you can get 30 per cent off - taking the price of a family ticket down to £15.40 when you book online here .

The code is valid for any morning, afternoon or evening slot Monday to Friday until the attraction closes.

New sessions start every 15 minutes and you can book in advance or turn up on the day and you can spend as long as you like inside.

There's also a Santa's grotto you can visit near the Ice Cavern.

Slots can be booked between 1pm and 6.45pm midweek and from 11am to 6.45pm on weekends and during school holidays.

Tickets cost £7 and each child ticket includes access for one adult. Advance online booking is advised.

The indoor ice skating rink is also nearby, with sessions starting on the hour and lasting for 45 minutes but it's recommended you get there 30 minutes before your time slot.

Tickets cost £11 for adults and children 13 and over, and £9 for children aged three to 12.

You can get a family ticket for an adult and three children, or two adults and two children, for £35.

This year there's the option to pre-book skate aids online or at the box office.
