Stellaron Hunters Kafka and Blade are taking a break from scheming against Interstellar Peace Corporation to cause some mayhem in Fortnite’s Battle Royale. The Honkai: Star Rail duo has arrived in the game’s item shop, but unlike Kafka, you can get Blade for free from the Epic Store.
Naturally, there are some prerequisites for it, a tad confusing, if anything. As such, in this guide, we explain how to get Blade for free in Fortnite.
How to unlock the Blade outfit for free in Fortnite
You can get Blade for free in Fortnite by purchasing certain eligible items in Honkai: Star Rail from the Epic Games Store.

These are all the items that can get you the Blade outfit and Red Spider Lily Backpack for free in Fortnite. While you can purchase Oneiric Shard directly from the Epic Store, others are available only through Honkai Star Rail’s item shop.
Make sure to bind your HSR account to your Epic account first. For this, head to the User Center in the game’s settings, where you will find the option to link them. If you’re on mobile, you are eligible for the outfit only if you’re signed in with your Epic account.
It’s worth noting that if you have purchased any of the aforementioned items in Honkai Star Rail through Epic Games Store after November 15, 2023, Blade should be available in your Fortnite locker.
Fortunately, there’s no end date for this offer, which means you can get Blade in Fortnite via this method as long as Honkai Star Rail is available on the Epic Games Store and it uses Epic’s payments for in-app purchases.
Separately, the Blade bundle costs 1,800 V-Bucks. It includes an outfit, Shard sword, and Red Spider Lily Backpack. You can also purchase the Blade outfit individually for 1,500 V-Bucks. If you have already purchased this outfit in Fortnite and bought an eligible item from Epic Store, you will get 1,500 V-Bucks instead.
Blade and Kafka bundles will remain in Fortnite‘s item shop until March 4, 2026, 7 pm ET. They are not the high-profile arrivals in the game. You can also currently get Resident Evil Requiem‘s Grace Ashcroft in Fortnite for free.
