Network Rail workers will strike for four days in November amid an ongoing dispute over pay and working conditions.
Workers will first walk out on November 5 – Bonfire Night – followed by further strikes on November 7, 9 and 10.
A strike was originally set to take place on November 3, but this has been rescheduled for November 9 to avoid clashing with London’s Poppy Day Appeal.
The strikes on national rail services will also affect London Overground and some Tube and Elizabeth line services.
Transport for London (TfL) advises that on November 5, 7, and 9 people travel on only national rail services if necessary. It also says people should complete their journeys on affected TfL services by 5pm. TfL also urges people to plan ahead and check their travel arrangements.

How to get around London on November 5
While Londoners will be hoping to travel across the city to see firework displays and attend bonfires, their journeys may be disrupted by strike action.
These are the public transport services that will be affected.
Tube
On the District line, there will be a very limited service between Wimbledon and Parsons Green, Wimbledon and Earl’s Court, and Richmond and Turnham Green.
On the Bakerloo line, there will be no service north of Queen’s Park and a reduced London Overground service north of Queen’s Park from 8am until 5pm.
London Overground
There will be a reduced service on the London Overground during the strike.
The Night Overground will run on November 4 until 4am on November 5, but it will not run overnight on November 5.
Elizabeth line
On the west section of the Elizabeth line, there will be a very limited service between Paddington and Heathrow/Reading. The Heathrow service will run only to Terminal 4 and trains will terminate at Paddington.
There will be a reduced service on the central section after 5pm.
On the east section, there will be a very limited service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield. Trains will terminate at Liverpool Street.
Buses
Buses will run as normal but may be busier than usual due to the disruption on the Tube, London Overground and Elizabeth line.
