Quagmire Powder is one of the more advanced materials in Windrose. It will take you some time to gain access to the biome you need to procure this material. Once you're there, you can use it to produce something called Mire Metal Ingots.
Let's find out how to obtain Quagmire Powder.

How to get Quagmire Powder in Windrose
The first step is to unlock the Cursed Swamps biome. I unlocked it after the Foothills on my save, and it will likely be the third region you can access.

Go to the swamps, and you'll come across a creature called a Plague Thrall. They're fairly common, and you'll find them in the forests or along the coastline. They're slow, have two blocks, and do melee attacks. They're not too hard to kill as long as you've leveled up sufficiently.

When you kill and loot a Plague Thrall, you'll get Quagmire Powder. Killing them also gives you Bone Beads as another material. Quagmire Powder also appears to be a guaranteed drop; so far, every Plague Thrall that I have killed seems to drop the item.
How to use Quagmire Powder in Windrose
Quagmire Powder is required to smelt and produce Mire Metal Ingots. This item requires one Quagmire Powder and two Ancient Scraps. Mire Metal Ingots will be required for getting the final upgrades for your weapons and ships during the endgame. In simple words, it's an extremely important resource to get.
Hence, try to farm as much Quagmire Powder as possible if you're in the Cursed Swamps.
