The first thing you can buy for Phoenix Credits is the Sealed Caches in the store. Sealed Caches are a gacha system that can drop High-End items. High-End items have a low base drop rate but are guaranteed every 50 Sealed Caches.
To open a Sealed Cache, you need 160 Phoenix Credits (50 for a Standard Sealed Cache) or an Exclusive SHD Key (regular SHD Key for Standard Sealed Cache).
There are three types of Sealed Caches:
- Specialization Focus Sealed Cache (one for each Focus)
- Standard Sealed Cache
- OS Protocol Sealed Cache
The two Specialization Caches depend on equipped Specialization, as there’s one for each Focus. If you’re using Vanguard, there are caches for Commando and Recon. Each drops Skill Mods for that Specialization.
The Standard Sealed Cache is cheaper and only drops upgrade materials up to Superior rarity. The OS Protocol Caches are by far the most valuable, as they drop OS Protocols that are harder to come by through regular gameplay.
Bundles
The other thing you can buy in the store is bundles in the Bundle Store. Below the bundles for Premium Credits are bundles with materials, OS Protocols, and Tactical Augmentation Modules (TAM). Items in most of these bundles are up to Superior rarity, though, and are easy to get by playing the game.
TAM bundles, though, are more important. Two TAMs on a weapon increase its damage by 20 percent, increasing up to 80 percent with five TAMs. However, you need to get lucky with the right module for the right weapon type, as the bundle drops are random.
