How to get and use Packs in Crimson Desert

Packs are one of many things you'll find in Crimson Desert from your adventures, and they come in different shapes and sizes. Some of them have specific uses that become integral for clearing the late-game contents.

This guide will provide you with all the details regarding Packs in the game.

How to get Packs in Crimson Desert

Packs are obtained randomly by clearing in-game content. This includes quests that are part of the main (and side) arcs. You can also find them at random by defeating different enemies. The drop rate appears to be pretty common, but varies across types.

Some of the advanced packs, like the Kuku Rocket Pack, are specific in nature since they're upgrades. You have to start with the basic version (the Kuku Pack in this case) and upgrade it as per their requirements.

How to use Packs in Crimson Desert

The most important use for Packs is in crafting. You can use them to craft and upgrade the Kuku Pack. You can also use them for advanced upgrades in the Kuku Shop. First, you'll need to find the blueprints and start to craft them with the right materials and packs.

Incidentally, a few packs deal elemental damage, and you can use them in combat. The Flamethrower Pack, for example, can be used to shoot fire and works just like a ranged weapon. You can get them as random drops from Bandits.

The Kuku Boltspitter, which is an upgrade of the Kuku Pack, does the same thing as the Flamethrower Pack. However, you inflict Lightning hits instead of fire.

Finally, there are the cosmetic packs like Deer, Tanner's, and more that don't have any direct uses. They don't offer any stat boosts, and you can't use them for crafting/as weapons. You can choose to sell them for Copper and use the currency to buy other items.
