Although mastering the art of passing and performing Special Move Chains is key to succeeding in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, knowing when to use your Special Tactics is the only way to actually put up a fight against long-time players and end-game squads.
But as you can expect and in true Inazuma fashion, unlocking the full potential of the mechanic will demand both discipline and a lot of grinding. Here’s how to unlock, change, and use tactics in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.

How To Equip and Activate Tactics In Victory Road
Now that you know how to get them, you can equip up to three tactics to any assigned formation in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road by heading to your formation tab and adding them under Tactics. Once in a match, you can activate them by pressing L1/LB and then following up with their assigned input.

Apart from the above, every Free Battle and Online Match will also present you with a one-match-only Super Tactic, known for providing game-changing effects, going from an invincible keeper to the inability to lose Focus Battles and Scrambles for 30 seconds. Like the usual Special Tactics, Super Tactics can be reused once their CD is over.
