If you want to get and ascend the Unbound Esdeath (called Etri in-game) then make sure to keep reading our guide. We'll walk you through the two methods of obtaining the unit and acquiring all materials needed to ascend Etri in All Star Tower Defense X.
How To Get Unbound Etri in ASTD X
There are two ways you can get Unbound Esdeath in ASTD X. The first is through Trials, but keep in mind that you must be Level 25 to even unlock the Trials. Don't despair, if you're not the required level just yet, there is another way you could get her.
How to Play The Trials
Get ready for some serious grind because there's only 1% chance of you getting Unbound Etri by playing Trails. The chances go up to 10% if you play on the Strategist difficulty. You can check out our ASTD X tier list so that you can make the best team comp and know exactly which units are worth investing in.
Use Star Scroll (Etri)
You can skip the grind and simply buy Unbound Esdeath in All Star Tower Defense X through the Trial Shop. Here's how to do that:
- Go to the Trial Shop and buy an item called Star Scroll (Etri). It will cost you 250 Trial Shop Tokens.
- After that, you open the Items tab, tap on Star Scroll (Etri) and hit Use to get Unbound Etri (Esdeath).
How To Ascend Unbound Esdeath in All Star Tower Defense X
Once you have her, you can also ascend Unbound Esdeath in ASTD X to further improve her stats and unlock some hidden upgrades. However, ascending her is easier said than done in this game. The table below shows all the materials that you'll need to ascend Etri, along with how to get those materials:

| 5x EXP IV | - Play Infinite mode to earn EXP I and EXP II. - Transform these in the Items tab to get EXP IV. |
| 7x Ghost I (Blue) | - Play Challenges (Daily Challenge, Future City, Hidden Storm Village - Random Units) on Hard difficulty to earn Ghost Egg. - Transform Ghost Egg into Ghost I (Blue) in the Items tab. |
| 7x Ghost III (Rainbow) | - Play Challenges (Daily Challenge, Future City, Hidden Storm Village - Random Units) on Expert difficulty for 30% chance of getting Ghost III (Rainbow) as a reward. - You can also transform Ghost I and II (Rainbow) to get Ghost III (Rainbow). |
Apart from these 5 materials, you'll also need 7500 Gold Coins and 500 Eliminations. Once you have all the required materials and fulfill the two conditions mentioned above, open the Units tab, tap on Etri, and then tap on the 7,500 Gold Coin button (no Ascend button) to ascend your Unbound Esdeath/Etri.
