It's December 1 on Sunday, which means the Christmas countdown is well and truly on.
This year, parents can get their children personal messages from Santa Claus, with help from Amazon Alexa. All they have to do is asked Alexa "how many days are there until Christmas". Alexa will answer, before asking if they want an update from Father Christmas.
Alexa will then play a message from St Nick, which promises to keep kids updated with the latest Christmas news and offers some insight on to what he is up to as he prepares to pack the sled and fly around the world to drop off Christmas gifts.
So far - Mirror Online reports - he's been heard telling listeners: "Ho ho ho, I'm so looking forward to Christmas.
"I will be starting my daily Christmas update very soon, so make sure you come back if you love Christmas. Come back tomorrow for another Christmas update."
A mum shared the feature on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group .
She said: "Something fun for the kids to get excited about."
The Amazon devices, available from £22 here, offer a range of Christmas features.
For instance, the Santa feature by HUGO.FM will allow your little ones to ask Santa to do a number of different things - including recommending a Christmas movie to watch, telling his favourite Christmas cracker jokes and reading the headlines from the North Pole.
Once you've enabled the skill, you simply say, "Alexa, open Santa Claus", then give the device a command of your choice.
Alexa can also recite The Night Before Christmas poem, play Christmas music, send digital Christmas cards, track Santa, explore Christmas trivia and much more.
