Earlier this month, fares on Transport for Wales trains were reduced on a number of routes across the network.
Overall, costs in Wales dropped by an average of 1.1%, bucking the trend across much of the UK, where prices rose by 2.8%.
But some Welsh routes, including parts of the valleys, saw costs slashed by as much as 14%.
While the new, lower fares have been widely praised by commuters, some travellers have missed out on the savings, having purchased a season ticket in the weeks and months leading up to the reduction.
If you're in this boat, there may be a way to claim back at least some of cost of your ticket.
Here's what TfW has said:
To the disappointment of some commuters, Transport for Wales has said it will not offer mid-season fare reductions for those who purchased tickets before the January 2 reduction.
But, you're not out of luck completely.

A spokesman for the group told WalesOnline: “Whilst there is no special dispensation for us to offer mid-season fare reductions under the National Rail Conditions of Travel, there is a national process for refunding season tickets.
"Season ticket holders who bought their tickets before the price changes may wish to explore this option.”
Once a ticket is refunded, the traveller will then be able to re-purchase the season ticket at the newly-discounted rate.
Here's how to apply for a refund:
If you bought your season ticket from TfW on the website or app, you can apply for a refund using this contact form.
If the ticket was purchased at a ticket machine or ticket office, you'll have to return to the station to request a refund.

Any other ticket retailer needs to be contacted directly for instructions on how to get a refund.
Tickets purchased outside of the website or mobile app will be subject to a £10 admin fee, so travellers should make sure their refund exceeds £10 in order to make the refund worthwhile.
Refunds will be issued within 28 days of receipt of the application.
