How to get a free meal at Toby Carvery in Colwick this weekend

Toby Carvery in Colwick is showing its support for the nation's heroes by offering military personnel across Nottingham a free meal.

To mark Armed Forces Day on Saturday, June 29, all serving troops, veterans and reserves from the Army, Navy and RAF can get a free breakfast or carvery at the restaurant, as a way of saying thank you for all their hard work.

To claim their free meal, they just need to download a voucher from the Toby Carvery website or app and present it in the restaurant with their military ID.

Last year more than 7,000 meals were give away at 154 Toby Carvery restaurants across the UK. The company hopes to beat that this time around with the biggest giveaway goal to date of 10,000 free meals.

Martin Gosling, Toby Carvery's brand operations director, said: “Armed Forces Day is the perfect opportunity for us to come together in showing support for our heroes and giving them a huge thank you for their service.

“We’re proud to support the incredible men and women in the armed forces and a meal on us is just a small way for us to show our gratitude!”

This isn’t the only deal awaiting the nation’s heroes. As a year-round thank you, Toby Carvery will also be offering a 20% discount to Defence Discount Service and Blue Light Card holders across all of their restaurants.
