No Man's Sky Voyagers is now live on all available platform as the game's third major update this year, and it introduces a cool vehicle: your personal spaceship, aka, Corvettes.
These massive ships are bigger than anything we have owned in the past, and you can build them from scratch. When complete, a Corvette will serve as your mobile base, filled with all facilities. Everything can be done on your spaceship, from launching missions to hanging out with your buddies.
But first, let's look at how you can obtain a Corvette.
How to obtain a Corvette in No Man's Sky?
The Corvette differs from other ships we own and use in the game. For starters, you don't buy these spaceships. Instead, you assemble the ship to make it your customized masterpiece for exploring all corners of space.
If you're a beginner in No Man's Sky, it will take some time for you to get your Corvette.
- Your best bet is to complete all missions until you gain Anomaly access.
- Once you access the Anomaly, you can begin a specific expedition that will gradually introduce you to your first Corvette. You can start the expedition from the Expedition Terminus.
If you have already cleared a lot of in-game content like me, getting your hands on a Corvette is easy.
- Go to any Anomaly in your galaxy.
- On your left/right, you'll find teleporters against a wall. Use them to move up a floor. You'll be teleported to the Corvette assembly area.
- Here, you can design your Corvette.
- First, you'll need to buy parts for your Corvette. You'll need one of each type. The prices of Corvette parts vary based on their quality.
- You can also trade basic parts for items of better quality.
- Once you have all the required items, you can assemble your Corvette.
- Not only can you design your Corvette, but you can also customize the position of the parts and select a color.
- Once you're happy with your creation, you can accept the ship to add to your collection.
Corvettes have class like other spaceships, but the customization potential makes them way cooler. You can also swap and change different parts to your liking, which means that you don't have to discard them outright in the first place.
As always, make sure to invite your friends to your ship. You can also decorate the interiors of your spaceship as per your liking.
