How to get 47 days holiday in 2023 by booking just 19 days annual leave

Finally all that TikTok scrolling is paying off as a new viral video reveals how you can use just 19 days of your annual leave and get a total of 47 days off work. If you book yourself a break on the specific days below you'll have nice long holiday to look forward to regularly throughout the year.

It happens every year. If you're strategic about booking your time off, you can reap the rewards. But when to book, and the amount of time off you will get, differs each year, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Here is a full list of 19 dates to book throughout 2023 if you want to have 47 days off in total. And we've broken it down for you monthly so just forward this to your boss.

April

Easter falls on April 7 (Good Friday) and April 10 (Easter Monday). Booking off these dates gives you 10 days off:

  • Monday, April 3
  • Tuesday, April 4
  • Wednesday, April 5
  • Thursday, April 6

May

You can get nine days off using just four days leave, thanks to the May Bank Holiday weekend.

  • Tuesday, May 2
  • Wednesday, May 3
  • Thursday, May 4
  • Friday, May 5

End of May/early June

The next Bank Holiday is Spring Bank Holiday on Monday, May 29. Once again, you can bag nine days out of work - by using just four days of your holiday allowance:

  • Tuesday, May 30
  • Wednesday, May 31
  • Thursday, June 1
  • Friday, June 2

End of August/early September

The next Bank Holiday is Monday, August 28. Book four dates off AGAIN for nine days out of work, folks. They are as follows:

  • Tuesday, August 29
  • Wednesday, August 30
  • Thursday, August 31
  • Friday, September 1

December

  • Wednesday, December 27
  • Thursday, December 28
  • Friday, December 29
