How to follow all the action from Australia's Women's World Cup campaign

Australia is gearing up for another tilt at the Women's Cricket World Cup, and ABC Grandstand will bring you the action from England.

Can Australia defend the title it won in India in 2013 and become world champions for the seventh time? We will help to guide you through the tournament as we find out the answer to that question.

Where can I tune in?

The tournament will be broadcast on ABC Extra on Digital Radio, online and via the ABC Radio app (available on iTunes and Google Play).

Look out for the ABC Extra pop-up to stream our commentary straight from the app.

What is the format?

The ICC Women's World Cup is an eight-team tournament, featuring hosts England, defending champions Australia, South Africa, India, West Indies, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Organisers have decided against using a group stage, opting instead for a round-robin phase where each team will play seven matches.

The top four teams will qualify for the knockout stage beginning with the semi-finals.

What are the fixtures?

There are 28 games in the round-robin phase, beginning with hosts England against India on June 24.

ABC Grandstand will bring you all seven of Australia's matches plus other key matches and all finals.

The semi-finals will be held on July 18 and 20 from 7:30pm AEST, and the final at Lord's will be on July 23 from 7:30pm AEST.
