Pillow cases and duvet covers are easy to fold.
But when it comes to your fitted bed sheet with its bunching, elasticated round corners - you can't blame us for scrunching it up into a ball and throwing it to the back of the cupboard.
And on those few occasions where you have the time to at least attempt a neat fold - you probably gave up half way through.
Luckily, the internet has us covered again with another handy, household hack.
Savvy TikTok user @kristinalburn created her account to share cooking hacks, home tips and general 'mum life' content with her followers.
And she generously uploaded an easy-to-follow clip revealing a clever way to fold the seemingly un-foldable.
Narrating over her video, she says: "How to fold a fitted sheet sheet in under 30 seconds.
"Grab your bottom corners and turn them inside out, tuck them inside of your top two corners.
"Shake it out to ensure a nice even fold.
"Put the sheet back on the table with the elastic facing in making a square shape.
"Take the top and fold it over, smoothing out as you go.
"Bring the bottom to the top, bring the outside edges to meet in the centre.
"It's not perfect - but it works.
"Lastly, fold the whole thing in half. Voila!"
The short clip was viewed 15.1 thousand times and received more than 1000 likes.
In the comment section underneath the hack video on Kristina's page, followers congratulated the tidy homemaker on her clever hack.
TikTok user @_mylight_ posted: "Honestly had no idea how to fold one of these until now."
And @valruiz89 commented: "Thanks, worked well."
But one social media users pointed out that there's nothing new about this folding technique.
