The Access: Request Timed Out error happens when you can't establish a smooth server connection. This can sometimes occur from your end, so you must ensure your internet connection works smoothly.
If that's taken care of, here are a few more things to try.
- Restarting the game might not solve many problems with The Bazaar, but it can usually take care of the Access: Request Timed Out error. This is my go-to solution whenever I can't connect with the servers despite having a functioning internet connection.
- Disable VPN if you're having problems with server connections. The game servers won't work if you're connected to a working VPN connection. So turning off any VPN/proxy hiders is mandatory if you want to enjoy the game.
- Seems obvious, but the servers can be down occasionally due to updates. The game's official X account is the best place to track such events. You can also use other social media sources, like the game's subreddit, to stay on top of any routine maintenance.
A missing file or two can also cause problems when trying to connect to the servers. If you bought the game and downloaded the files on Steam, you can perform an Integrity Check. This will automatically locate and re-download any missing files vital to the game client's normal functioning.
