How to find restaurants in Liverpool offering an Eat Out to Help Out style discount in September

Last month the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme encouraged people to visit restaurants and pubs again, with busy scenes across Liverpool on the days the offer was running.

The initiative helped give businesses a much-needed boost after months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 50% off deal, which was launched by chancellor Rishi Sunak has now come to an end but some restaurants have decided to keep the offer going, or launch a similar discount in September.

To easily find out which restaurants, pubs, cafes and bars are doing discounted food this month, we’ve teamed up with our partner website InYourArea to create a useful widget and it couldn’t be easier to use.

Simply enter your postcode below to find details of participating venues near you (click ‘View On InYourArea' if results don’t automatically display). If you can’t see the search box on your device, click ‘view interactive content’.

Some restaurants have simply extended the same deal as the government scheme, which offered 50% off food and drink (excluding alcohol) Monday to Wednesday, capped at £10 per head.

Other venues have slightly different discounts and offers that apply, with some even including a discount on alcohol.

With the popularity of last month’s deal, it might be worth booking ahead once you find a restaurant you fancy visiting, to avoid disappointment.
