It's frustrating missing out on tickets for Sam Fender's huge Newcastle Arena gig - but do not be tempted to buy off touts.
Tickets bought from overpriced re-selling sites will not be valid for the album chart topper's arena show. Fans who buy them risk being ripped off, and not getting in.
The only way to still buy valid tickets for the gig is through Twickets, an exhange site used by ticketholders who can not go to the gig, or have spares. Tickets sourced from Twickets can only be exchanged for their face value price. They will be valid for the show, as the Twickets is an official ticketing partner for Sam Fender.
Tickets for Sam Fender's April 3 show sold out in seven minutes. Within an hour of them selling out, ChronicleLive found touts offering tickets at more than .
The 25-year-old Hypersonic Missiles singer has warned fans himself about using tout sites like Viagogo.
He tweeted: "Tickets from resale sites will not be valid and entry refused, please don’t waste your hard earned money please."
