)Are you missing local ABC news in your Facebook feed? Here are some easy steps to make sure you don't miss a beat in your area.
Step 1: Download the ABC News app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and open it.
Step 2: Click on the settings icon (shaped like a cog) at the top right of the homepage. This will take you to the settings page.
Step 3: Select "Local News" from the list. The app will now ask you to enable location access on your phone. If you don't want to do that, just hit cancel and you can manually enter the suburb or postcode for the area you're interested in.

)Step 4: Hit the back arrow to return to the settings page and select "My Topics", then select "Local News" from the list.
Step 5: Hit back again to return to the ABC News homepage, which will now display the stories most relevant to you based on your location. You can even hit the cloud icon next the settings button to check the weather!
Don't forget you can navigate the app using the icons at the bottom of the screen. You can also add more topics you're interested in to further personalise your experience.
