The Supernova Academy secret vault in Fortnite is one of the many places on the island, where you can get amazing guaranteed loot by completing a simple mini game.
Every Fortnite season, the developer adds multiple secret vaults on the island, which can be opened by completing a small action. Players have already found the first vault in Chapter Six season three Super, where you need to prove your agility and aim to secure some high-quality loot.
How to find the Supernova Academy secret vault in Fortnite
To find the secret Fortnite vault, make your way to the northern side of the Supernova Academy point of interest and find a window in the corner. Jump inside the window and make your way down the stairs to locate the Morgan Myst NPC. Besides the NPC, you should spot the door which can only be opened by pressing a button located on the right side of the door.
The NPC also sells the Myst Gauntlets, which are a great item to purchase to pair with the loot and defend against enemies who are looking to third-party your training and steal your loot. I’ve played five matches where I tried to complete the challenge and almost four times there was an enemy waiting for me to finish the mini-game and eliminate me to take the loot from the vault. So, always be prepared to take down enemies when you are going inside the vault mini-game.
The Supernova Academy has multiple NPCs, including Superman, so don’t try to look for the Morgan Myst NPC directly after you land. Follow the map location and it should be easy to find the vault after you find the window.
How to open the Supernova Academy secret vault in Fortnite
To open the Supernova Academy secret vault in Fortnite, press E to interact with the button and it should say that you’re starting your hero training. You have 45 seconds to finish 10 objectives, which start immediately after pressing the button.
There are two kinds of objectives. Firstly, there are yellow-colored coins that you need to collect, which you can do easily by doing parkour on the blue colored platform. Next, the red-colored cubes need to be destroyed. The easiest way to do that is by firing your weapons and tagging them once to destroy them completely. If you don’t want to waste your bullets, you can simply use your pickaxe and break them, but it is time-consuming.
As the objectives are always stationary, you can memorize their location and create the best route for yourself to complete the mini-game quickly. The timer is visible on the orange scoreboard above the vault door and it opens once you complete the challenge within the time. If you don’t complete it, the challenge gets reset and you have to try again.
Once the Supernova Academy’s secret vault door opens, you have three rare chest spawns, which are great for getting epic or higher-tier weapons. Apart from weapons, there’s ammo and also the special hero items to make your perfect loadout at the start of the match and become the hero of your dreams. Lastly, there is a Port-a-Potty in the vault as well to safely make your way out of the location if you feel an enemy is coming.
