How to find a covid vaccination walk-in centre near you

All people aged 18 and over will now be offered a Covid-19 booster vaccine before the New Year, in a bid to tackle the Omicron variant that is spreading rapidly.

Following this evening's announcement by the Prime Minister, all eligible adults aged 18 and over, in England, will be able to get their booster jab as early as tomorrow, Monday, December 13.

Adults aged 30 and over can book theirs from tomorrow (Monday).

The NHS national booking service will allow you to book an appointment for a first dose, a second dose or a booster jab in advance.

The Prime Minister said bookings will open for people aged 18-30 Wednesday (December 15) but that some may be able to get theirs earlier at walk-in sites.

As the UK faces high levels of infection from the Omicron variant of coronavirus, the Government has brought forward the target of offering all adults a booster jab by a month.

Whereas the previous goal was to roll these out by the end of January, Boris Johnson has said this will now be offered to all adults in England by the New Year.

How do I find my nearest walk-in vaccination clinic?

On November 1, hundreds of walk-in sites across the country began offering booster vaccines as the NHS ‘Grab-a-Jab’ campaign returns, making it even easier for people who are eligible to get their top-up jab.

There are more clinics delivering vaccines now than at any other point in the programme, including pharmacies, GP practices and other community sites – almost every person registered with a GP practice lives within 10 miles of a fixed vaccination site

Those who are eligible for a booster dose can now use the NHS online walk-in finder to find the most convenient site to get their top-up without an appointment.
