It doesn't take much to excite the little ones at Christmas .
The slightest thing can add to the magic and mystery of the festive period, with the promise of Santa on his way with toys for all the kids.
Ahead of the sleepless night on Christmas Eve, children in their millions will be leaving out some snacks for Father Christmas and his hard-working reindeer to help them on their way.
But now you can make the tradition even more magical - by capturing one of Rudolph's gang on camera, munching away on their favourite snacks in your very own living room, reports Mirror Online .

McDonald's launched its Reindeer Ready website last year and now it's back after being a huge hit with parents up and down the country.
All you need to do is visit the page on your phone and click 'get started'.
It then allows you to take a photo of where you have left a plate of carrots before editing in a real-life reindeer, taking a crunchy bite of the food before looking suspiciously at the camera as the bells on its collar can be heard jingling away.

The app adds in its own plate of carrots so be sure to move yours out of the way first, and you can even change the side the reindeer is facing to ensure it looks like the real deal.
Once you've perfected the shot, you can finalise and download the video ready to wow your children on Christmas morning.
A few users experienced problems late on Christmas Eve last year with so many people trying to access the website, so it may be worth getting it ready ahead of time to beat the rush.
