If Elf on the Shelf is going crazy in your house, imagine how giddy the kids will be to see a reindeer in their home.
Following big success with its Reindeer Ready Live app in previous years, McDonald's has relaunched the technology once again.
The app, which can be downloaded now, allows parents to capture footage of Santa’s reindeer as they stop off at the house on Christmas Eve.
The tool follows the chain's #ReindeerReady Christmas campaign, which has also seen it give away half a million free Archie the reindeer books.
You need to visit reindeerready.co.uk/live on your phone or tablet, as it doesn't work on desktop.
Next, click 'Get Started' and then 'I'm Ready'.
You can then choose a photo or take one of the spot where you want the reindeer to appear.
You are also able to choose which way you want to position the animal by using the 'flip the reindeer' option.
Agree to the T&Cs, wait 30 seconds whilst your video is processed and hey presto! You have a pet reindeer - kind of.
Once all that's done you can share it to social media or send it via email.
