The Edge of Fate expansion introduced armor sets to Destiny 2. Armor provides additional bonuses when you wear either two or four pieces from the same set. One of the strongest armor sets to have early in the expansion days is the Bushido set.
Here’s everything you need to know to get your hands on the Bushido armor set in Destiny 2.
How to get Bushido armor set in Destiny 2

Bushido armor comes from Pinnacle Ops inside the Portal, similar to the new Mint Retrograde Rocket-Assisted pulse rifle. Any Pinnacle Ops activity has a chance to drop a piece of Bushido armor set upon completion or throughout the mission as a random drop.
Every day, there’s one activity in the Pinnacle Ops with a Bonus Focus drop. Achieving a Grade B or higher in that activity earns you a specific item. When the Bushido armor piece is a Bonus Focus reward, farm that activity and stock up on high-tier armor of different archetypes.
Bushido armor set bonuses in Destiny 2, explained

Unlike some sets, like Aion Renewal, that have more niche bonuses, Bushido provides a universal benefit, regardless of your loadout or the activity you’re playing. This is why many players farmed it to play challenging content, including The Desert Perpetual’s raid race.
Here are the Bushido armor set bonuses:
- Two-piece set: Final blows with freshly drawn or reloaded weapons heal you.
- Four-piece set: Bow, Shotgun, or Sword final blows temporarily reduce incoming damage. Damaging targets with those weapons extends the effect.
The two-piece set bonus is arguably the best in the game, and acts like a budget Heal Clip (with no Solar synergies). When you pull out or reload a weapon, you have a small window to secure a kill and get around 30 health. You can only get one kill and then have to reload or swap weapons again. But, with how often you get to do that in PvE, the Bushido armor set can provide a consistent bonus. If you prefer using bows, shotguns, or swords, you can also take advantage of a four-piece set bonus for additional damage resistance.
